Privacy Policy

Who we are

KarobarUdhar (karobarudhar.com) is operated by Nitanya Digital Ventures, D-003, 81 High Street, Sector 81, Faridabad, Haryana 121002. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this site.

1. The short version

We do not ask you for personal information, and we do not have accounts, logins, or newsletters. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read. Our calculators run inside your browser and send nothing to us. That is the whole of it.

2. What we collect

Analytics data, through Google Analytics 4. Pages viewed, time on page, referring site, approximate location at city level derived from your IP address, device type, browser, operating system, and a randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie. We do not receive your IP address itself.

Server and security data, through Cloudflare. Our host records standard request logs and runs bot and denial-of-service protection. This includes IP addresses, handled by Cloudflare under its own privacy terms.

Anything you send us voluntarily. If you email hello@karobarudhar.com, we hold your email address and whatever you write, for as long as needed to deal with it.

What we do not collect. We do not collect your name, phone number, address, PAN, Aadhaar, income, bank details, or credit score. We do not have a login system. We do not run a newsletter. We do not sell, rent, or share data with data brokers.

3. Our calculators

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. Loan amounts, incomes, EMI figures, credit scores, and every other number you type stays on your device. Nothing is transmitted to our servers, stored by us, or shared with any lender or partner. Close the tab and it is gone.

4. Why we collect it

We use analytics to understand which articles and tools are useful, so we can improve them. We use server logs to keep the site available and protect it from attack. We use email correspondence to reply to you.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

5. Consent

We rely on your consent for analytics. You may withdraw it at any time by using your browser's cookie controls, by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by browsing in private mode. Withdrawing consent does not restrict any part of the site.

Server logs and security processing are necessary to operate the site and cannot be switched off.

6. Who else sees it

Google receives anonymised usage data for traffic measurement. Cloudflare receives request and security logs for hosting and protection. Affiliate networks receive only the fact that a click came from a page on this site, so they can attribute the referral.

Affiliate networks do not receive personal information from us, because we do not hold any. Once you land on a partner's site, that partner's privacy policy governs what happens next.

Google and Cloudflare process data on servers outside India. The Digital Personal Data Protection framework permits such transfers except to countries the Central Government has specifically restricted.

7. How long we keep it

Analytics data is retained for fourteen months and then deleted automatically by Google. Cloudflare log retention follows Cloudflare's own schedule. Email correspondence is kept for up to two years from our last exchange, then deleted.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to access a summary of the personal data we hold about you, to correct or complete inaccurate data, to have data erased when we no longer need it, to raise a grievance, and to nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become incapable.

To exercise any of these, write to hello@karobarudhar.com. We will respond within thirty days.

Because we do not run accounts or collect identifiers that link to you, in most cases we will have no personal data of yours to produce. If that is the position, we will tell you so plainly rather than ask you to prove who you are.

9. Grievance redressal

We acknowledge within three working days and resolve within thirty days. If you remain dissatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Data breaches

If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules 2025, describing what happened, what data was affected, and what you can do about it.

11. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen, and we do not direct any content at children.

12. Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors, lasting up to two years. Cloudflare sets security cookies for bot protection, lasting from one session to thirty days.

We set no advertising cookies and run no ad network. Affiliate networks may set a cookie after you click through to a partner, on that partner's domain, not ours.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.

13. Changes

We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the effective date and version number above. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page for thirty days.
